Salary: Up to £60k Base £120K OTE Depending on experience

About the role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for achieving both annual and quarterly sales targets. Candidates will possess excellent presentation skills and have at least 3 years history of meeting and exceeding sales targets. They will be able to demonstrate previous experience in generating and closing new business within both mid-market and enterprise level businesses. Knowledge of the marketing sector and related technologies would be a significant advantage but is not essential.

Although we have a strong Marketing department generating leads, candidates will also be required to make contact with prospective clients and make new business appointments with senior Marketing & Sales decision makers and budget holders within mid to large UK and international organisations.

Key Duties

  • Arrange meetings with potential customers to prospect for new business
  • Attend prospect/customer meetings to capture requirements and present Cyance services
  • Gain a clear understanding of customers’ businesses, decision makers & influencers and their requirements
  • Present the Cyance Value Proposition and service offerings in a structured and professional manner, demonstrating how Cyance can help each prospect in a clear and concise manner
  • Carry out demos of the platform and help prove proof of value
  • Write client centric proposals to capture specific requirements and tailor customised solutions for B2B multi-channel lead nurturing programmes
  • Negotiate clear terms of business (in conjunction with the Sales Director) and close sales
  • Gather market and customer information and report back to the business
  • Liaise with operational staff to effectively plan for resourcing requirements
  • Record sales and client information on CRM system
  • Review own sales performance and meet or exceed targets
  • Attend team meetings and share best practice with colleagues

Requirements

  • Excellent phone manner / people skills / written and verbal communication
  • Excellent Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and CRM skills
  • Ability to work in a busy and differing team environment and under pressure
  • Self-sufficient and self-motivated
  • Ability to use initiative and problem solve
  • Experience of dealing with clients covering a range of seniority levels and cultures
  • Ability to build relationships and trust with senior business decision makers and influencers
  • Proven history of meeting and exceeding sales revenue targets of at least £500K per annum
  • Demonstrate a track record of closing complex, service-based solutions to mid-market and enterprise businesses
  • At least a basic understanding of Marketing departments, processes, technologies etc.
